Pakistan versus Afghanistan: Seats destroyed in Sharjah arena in the difficult situation on and off pitch

Seats were destroyed and there were irregular conflicts between fans after Afghanistan narrrowly lost to Pakistan in the Asia Cup on Wednesday night.

The difficulty started when Afghanistan bowler Fareed Ahmad celebrated in Pakistan batsman Asif Ali's face after he was gotten out.

Ali then pushed his glove into Ahmad's face prior to bringing his bat up in a danger caught by TV cameras around the arena.

Both Afghan and Pakistani players, including Azmatullah Umarzai and Hasan Ali, stepped in to stop the contention.

However, the experience stirred up currently tense fans, with handfuls in a single segment of the arena recorded destroying seats and throwing them at each other.

Sharjah Police told The Public that no captures have been made at this stage.
