Halligan said she originally got a call that FBI specialists were executing a court order at 10 a.m. on Monday, and she showed up about an hour after the fact. One more lawyer for Trump had proactively shown up.

She expressed 30 to 40 FBI specialists led the quest for eight hours, some of whom were wearing suits yet most in relaxed apparel. She expressed 10 to 15 vehicles went into the property.

Halligan said she didn't see specialists taking any records yet accepts they did.

The FBI directed its inquiry allegedly centered around records looked for by the National Archives and Records Administration that Trump ought to have turned over when he went out. The National Archives recuperated 15 boxes of material from Trump, including some containing ordered data, recently.

Trump has hammered the hunt, saying in a proclamation affirming it happened that he has helped out significant government offices.

Halligan told CBS that Trump was stunned at the inquiry and accepted he had helped out examiners. She said he advised her that he trained his lawyers to turn over records assuming they have them.

She said the court order was fixed. She said the hunt was "a horrifying presentation of misuse and power — complete over the top excess."
